Mind-Body Exercises
Unite movement, breath, and awareness through practices like Qigong and Tai Chi to cultivate life-force energy, build resilience, and restore inner balance.
Movement with attention on it
Qigong and Tai Chi are slow, repeatable forms that put breath, movement, and attention on the same track. The forms are simple enough to learn in a few sessions and deep enough that people practice them for decades.
Qigong works with what the tradition calls the Three Treasures: Jing, Qi, and Shen. In practice that means building a base, moving energy through it, and settling the mind on top.
What changes
Balance and joint mobility improve, which matters more every year past 40. Sleep tends to come easier. The clearest change most people notice is a longer gap between a stressful input and their reaction to it.
Starting
Ten minutes a day beats an hour on Saturday. The forms reward frequency, and a short daily practice is the version people actually keep.
